We took a car with us on the ferry because James and Steve were staying in Gozo after the walk to join in the local carnival activities. On arrival we drove up from Mgarr and parked the can in Rabat, We started the walk by crossing over Republic street and took  the road behind Citadel as if heading for Zebbug.
