| This was the first night hike for the malta-challenges.net and I really feel that it was a successful and a satisfactory walk for those who took part in it. In reality I usually give up walking for the summer, since it is too hot and spend most of the summer time at the beach rather than walking. Talking to some of my friends we noted that it has been some time since we did some activity and here is were the night hike idea started to get some shape. | ||||
| I thought about the idea and asked Joseph (since he is keen about astronomy) when will the next full moon be. I hate torches flashing in a night hike; I feel that these flashing spoil the fun of enjoying the night scenery. With a full moon and no clouds at all we didn't need them at all, and we enjoyed very good visibility. ( mainly torches were used as a safety precaution signaling cars our presence). | ||||

| Before we start a walk we always drive or walk the parts we are not familiar with. The last thing one wants on the actual walk is to get lost, this will cause frustration within the team and one will lose the fun of it, So careful planning is essential more so for this one as we are doing it at night. | ||||
| The things that were the highlights of the walk for me apart from the walk itself were the finding of the scribbling art on the front wall of San Blas Chapel and the Chapel Tal-Madonna tar- Rivelazzjoni just off Ghajn Tuffieha road in Pwales Valley | ||||
