Saw your web site. Very impressed with your idea!!  I must say that I came across your web site by chance and I became captivated by the brilliant idea you and your courageous friends had undertaken. I think your marathon was a brilliant idea! Alexander Morana From Canada

Hello from Nova Scotia, Canada, We hope that you will keep your site up and running for as long as possible. We have forwarded the address to several persons who have said, "I've always wanted to visit Malta". The photographs you feature are beautiful and your tours very tempting. I have spent several holidays touring Malta by bicycle and hope to return again. Thank you. Robert Patterson

Hello, I was sent an e-mail to visit your site of Malta challenges! It looks very very interesting! Can you please tell me if anyone is invited to join you? or is a closed group! Do you have to be very fit to join? Thanks Christine

You certainly cover some very long walks around Malta, and in very impressive times! I didn't meet many Maltese walkers while I was exploring the islands a year ago, so it's good to find out that there are people like you and your friends walking such routes. I like the way you have organized your website, because it lets people know that there are good walks available, and you have plenty of pictures to illustrate them. Some of the panoramic shots are spectacular! I also like the maps you have included, and the way you link them end-to-end on the longer routes. I haven't come across the detailed mapping you used on the website. The best maps I found were the 1:25,000 scale maps available from the Government offices at Floriana. I think your plan to walk around the island of Gozo in a day is very ambitious, and I look forward to reading about it when you post something on your website later. It's good of you to include so much background information to your walks in the way of pictures and notes about plants and animals encountered. Best wishes. Paddy Dillon

I just checked your website...very interesting info about Malta. keep up the good work!  Regards The Search Malta Team

first of all it is a first class job and so I congratulate you for a job well done!!!! cheers mate!!!  I saw the introduction part where some of you said a few words about some past experiences and challenges. it is really good . but the most impressive part on the website which merits all the thumbs up!!! is the map part where u can click on the red dots and see each part of the marathon with pictures and some details. its really interesting and enjoyed watching the pictures since I could not join you for the walk  well keep it up  and hope you can put more challenges and marathons on the site in the future. Regards simon

First thing I would like to congratulate myself with you for the continuous improvement and updating of the Malta Challenges site, I like very much  the way it is set up now. Thanks once more for all the time you employ in updating the web page. Hope to see you soon in some new challenge. Denis

Thanks for forwarding me the article! I also saw the new photos and they're great - they kind of give one an idea of the challenge that lies ahead! I sent an e-mail to most of my friends telling them about the web-site and asking them for feedback, I'm sure most of them will visit it. Thanks Audrey

The website is extremely well done. I found it very intriguing and resourceful. Melissa. Canada.

The pics on your site look really good; all I've seen of Malta in the past is shots of historic buildings and hot streets. Your assembly of photos shows a side of the island I'd not imagined. All I can say is, must go and see for myself some day, and produce one of my monthly Trekspec features on it for tgo (The Great Outdoors) magazine. Maybe I'll see you there some time. In the meantime, good luck. Kev. Edenbridge Kent UK

hi well done for your sense of adventure and for this beautiful and informative site.....i like the frog pics i've never seen a frog live before....:)  Prosit! hello to james audrey and tony who know me Lorraine xxx

Thank you so much for this website. I just stumbled onto it about 30 minutes ago and was reading some of your comments about the island and seeing the pictures that are just spectacular to me. I am Maltese living in U.S.A. Those pictures make me homesick, but I love the fact that it gets me closer to my dear country. I agree with what you said about the island. The good and the bad. Thank you for being constructive in your criticism of Malta. Hope a lot of Maltese read that and amend the situation. Hope your travels over there keep being enjoyable. I always have a great time when I am there.

Just found your website by accident looking for good walks on our next trip to Malta and we might try parts of some of yours this autumn.  In the past have done from Manoel Island along the coast to Coastline hotel and others in published books but certainly your one along the Victoria Lines looks interesting and the pictures are very helpful.  I like the look of Had Dingli to Kennedy Grove and may think about doing some of it in reverse but the layout of this is not as good as the others. Nevertheless you have a fascinating site and I have bookmarked this for future reference.  Keep up the good work. Jenny Thompson West Gloucestershire, England

Hi there, You brought good memories of my youth with your website pictures. Now I'm a retiree in Canada I was thrown back to the 50's when we used to do some of those same walks along the south of Malta. Thanks again   John N Scerri   Mississauga Ontario.

Hi there, I'm just a retired Maltese expatriate in Canada doing a project about chapels and churches in Malta & Gozo. Apart from your website being rich in such pictures, you took me back to the 50's when as a young man I used to roam many of the routes you walk. Thanks. John Scerri

My name is Janice, I live in Toronto, Canada! I was born and raised here to Gozitan parents. I am a 42, and have been to Malta and Gozo several times and always wanted to walk the walk. Unfortunately we always vacation in the summer and I think the heat would be too much for us. I have though been around Gozo quite a lot and there are so many beautiful places there. I am really glad to see Maltese enjoying the beauty of their island as I have always said that they didn't realize what was at their doorstep. I will be checking your site frequently to see any updates

Hi, We are regular winter visitors to Malta and very much enjoy walking. We are not as intrepid as you, being somewhat older and knowing our limitations, but the pictures and text are really interesting and informative and will add to our pleasure this year. Thank  you. Happy challenges in 2008, regards, Brenda Broughton
